An American We Are Grateful For brings to life the legacy of Pastor John Willis, an ordinary man with simple faith in an extraordinary God.

This book chronicles his birth in Finland, his years as a postal worker, Sunday School Superintendent and chalkboard artist in the United States, and his decades of continued faithful Christian service, after his retirement, as an evangelist, a pastor and a marriage counsellor, till he died at age ninety-nine in Singapore.

He led a full life preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and teaching the Word of God in more than twenty countries all over the world.
